Acrylic colors

Lusterless paint of structures etc.

I use acrylic colors for paint and weathering of a building etc. "Liqitex" etc. is put on the market from several companies now. When it can thin with water and gets dry, it becomes water resistance and the durability of a color is also high. Since a poisonous solvent is not used, the work in a room does not become pain not stinking, either. There are the number of colors and many soft types for airbrushes. If it is at a tree or paper, it is smeared satisfactory first.

Ground processing is carried out to the material which paints cannot apply easily by the ground material Gesso. Although Gesso is white, it can mix and use paints. it considering as a base color is also possible Moreover, there is also various medium.

Although it can use also for a plastic, since the surface is smooth it and it is easy to flip it, it is good to carry out the brush coating of having taken out as from the tube, without melting with water. However, although it will separate if it rubs strongly by the nail, since covering power is weak, unless rough usage is carried out, it is OK, and does not separate automatically. Conversely, it can be said that removing if not pleased is possible. The lacquer paint is better for metal.

In a color, they are transparency, translucence, and opaque . Since there are many things of an opaque color overwhelmingly, opacity and a translucence color are used fundamentally, and as for a transparent color, to use, when attaching nuance is good. Although it will probably be good to use an airbrush since white or GESSO is applied to a ground and it is easy to become in spots by brush coating to employ the color of a transparent color efficiently. I recommend an ordinary paint rather to such a color.

Expression of joint of brick.

Probably, there is also much direction which carries out a weathering, since it is insipid if the building of the brick of structure of a plastic etc. remains as it is. I am using acrylics colors and pastel. As for these, it is good that it can use that solvents, such as thinner, are unnecessary and easily.

Although it is this brick, if joint is expressed, it will become suddenly in feelings. I expressed joint using acrylics colors. In the case of a plastic kit, before assembling, that joint was put tends to do work. Probably, white or the bright gray of a color will be good. Before carrying out brush coating and getting dry on the brick surface with the colors merely thinned with the depth as it is taken out from the tube, or water for a while, it wipes off with a waste cloth. Then, only in the portion of joint, paints remain. I think that feeling can be held, if it does several times, although tips are just for a moment. It did little by little, without applying a big area to once, and it is safe and succeeds. It is feelings-like again although it surely becomes in spots. If joint is made, it will be made to be stained with soot in pastel, or the color of brick will be adjusted.

Adherence of ballast.

Although it is common to use the bond ballast method with the bond for woodwork as for adherence of ballast, since the good result was obtained, one of the solvents of acrylics colors and mat medium are introduced. Usage will be OK if several drops of neutral detergent is mixed with what was the same as the bond ballast method, and was thinned suitably. Since gloss does not come out, touch is good. Moreover, adherence of the coal on the tender of steam locomotives etc. is loaded can also be made the same. in the case of coal, probably, it will also be good to use gross medium when you want gloss. Is a difficulty a point more expensive than the bond for woodwork?
